To New Beginnings

The former Magnetic Specialty, Inc. building owned by the Ralph Murphy Family was donated to the Board of Directors of the Harmar Community Center in late 2011. The building is currently undergoing construction and renovation to be the permanent home for the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, and Adult Education Facility, Meeting Rooms, a Commercial Kitchen and a Gymnasium. This work is to be completed in phases with Phase One being the Boys & Girls home and the Adult Learning Center which included classrooms and meeting rooms.
